Liz Munson, born at the "Foti Made Famous" Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, LA, graduated from the Mount Carmel "charmer" high school. "Growing up as a N'Awlins local, I loved the people (especially the characters), the culture, the music and dancing. I also loved to sing if anybody is willing to listen. My intro to the food industry began at Foxy Balls Snowball Stand in West End. This was me. I loved serving people. As the city grew, I found myself searching for ambiance and tranquility - and I found it on the Northshore. After 15 years of stints waitressing, I dreamed of having my own place - Liz's Where Y'at Diner. I knew I could do this - and here it is! I am excited to be located in the heart of Old Mandeville, participating in bringing charm to a newly emergin Florida Street. Come in and see me. Where Y'at Baby!
